About the Role:
As our Health & Safety Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting our commitment to creating a safe educational environment. You will work closely with the team to implement and maintain health and safety policies, ensuring compliance and fostering a culture of safety across our organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to health and safety incidents and training.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Organise and deliver health and safety training sessions for staff.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and best practices in health and safety.
- Act as a point of contact for health and safety inquiries from staff and students.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a health and safety role, preferably within the education sector.
- Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- A proactive and positive attitude with a passion for promoting safety.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and health and safety management software.
