Location: Batley / Birstall
Pay Rate: 13.53 per hour, increase after 12 weeks.
Job Type: Full-time, double day shifts

As a recruitment consultant, we are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in the Batley / Birstall area. We are looking for an experienced Production Operative to join their Filling Department.

This is a hands-on role involving the filling of paint tubs and operating production machinery within a fast-paced production environment.

Working Hours (Double Day Shifts)

Early Shift: 5:50am - 2:00pm
Late Shift: 1:50pm - 10:00pm
Early finish on Fridays

Key Responsibilities:

Filling tubs of paint accurately and efficiently
Operating and monitoring filling and production machinery
Identifying and reporting any machine faults
Completing basic machine cleaning and maintenance
Maintaining high standards of quality and health & safety
Keeping the work area clean and organised

Candidate Requirements:

Previous production or manufacturing experience is essential
Strong transferable skills from similar environments
Confident working with machinery
Good attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work double day shifts
