Management Accountant, 12 month FTC, Liverpool, Hybrid Working, Potential to turn permanent

A first-class employer in the Liverpool region is recruiting a management accountant for a 12-month FTC. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to redefining how the group management accounts are prepared, whilst creating a more business partnering-focused function. There is strong potential for the job to turn permanent on completion of the FTC.
Your new role
You'll support the operational and financial management through reporting, forecasting, analysis and management of financial performance. You'll also support in progress and upcoming projects, including an ERP upgrade.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and journals and analysis
- Preparation of quarterly forecast and annual budget journals and analysis
- Support departmental managers in managing their financial budgets.
- Support operational teams in producing financial reports and associated analysis
- Support finance transformation and ERP upgrades
- Provide assistance with continuous improvement projects alongside the transformation project
What you'll need to succeed - CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified
- Strong management accounting and analysis skills
- Available to start immediately, or at short notice
