Position: Hygiene Manager - Food ManufacturingLocation: Pladis - Canal Street, LeicesterWorking hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Job Overview
We have a brand-new opportunity for a driven management professional to support and lead our team, ensuring the highest quality services are completed for client satisfaction in the cleaning and hygiene services.
Main Duties

  • Maintain and audit the key operational documentation, e.g. Cleaning schedules (daily and periodic), Cleaning Risk Assessments, Cleaning Instruction Cards, Training Records etc.
  • Oversee training requirements of service and supervisory staff, conduct training support to cover training and development needs.
  • Ensure all aspects of the hygiene service are carried out and maintained to the required standard.
  • Conduct compliance audits, inspections of internal hygiene standards.
  • Be flexible and willing to adapt to changes in emphasis, or aspects of, the regional business requirements.
  • Ensure operation of the contract and one-off work is in line with the company procedures and be responsible for the associated company assets and facilities
  • To manage the hygiene hours and ensure all expenditure is authorised and recorded.

What we are looking for
  • Motivated, adaptable and driven personality.
  • Experience working in a Food Manufacturing / Food Hygiene background/ FMCG.
  • Desirable Level 3 Food Safety Qualification.
  • Proven ability to manage large, high-volume staff operations.
  • Client-Facing Experience.
  • Health and Safety knowledge and experience.
  • Strong communication skills and experience in using Microsoft Office packages.
