Remote working (ideally based in South West England) with occasional travel to Manchester

The Organisation

Our client is a charity supporting the needs of people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans.

The organisation is launching a pilot support service that provides accessible, non-clinical assistance to individuals on a waiting list for specialist gender-related healthcare, offering practical and emotional support while people await further care.

They are now looking for a Regional Manager to join them on a part-time basis, working 28 hours per week, for a fixed-term contract until 31st January 2027.

The Role

As a Regional Manager, you will lead the delivery of a pioneering non-clinical support service for individuals awaiting specialist gender-related healthcare.

You will take day-to-day responsibility for managing this service, working closely with partner organisations to ensure delivery against agreed outcomes, budgets and KPIs.

Alongside project oversight, you'll play an active role in shaping and delivering support that helps service users build resilience, prepare for appointments, and protect their mental wellbeing while on the waiting list.

Additionally, you will:

- Manage resource planning and budget management

- Develop an online resource bank for trans and non-binary community members

- Create and deliver webinars for community members and healthcare professionals

- Facilitate a co-production steering group with people with lived experience

- Gather, monitor and respond to stakeholder feedback across the service

- Lead outreach to healthcare professionals to raise awareness of the pilot and promote best practice

About You

To join our client as their Regional Manager, you will need:

- Experience of project management and using relevant tools to track successful project delivery

- Experience and an understanding of providing support to people from marginalised communities

- Experience creating and delivering engaging workshops and presentations

- Experience building effective partnerships with external organisations

- Knowledge of the issues and experiences for trans and non-binary people accessing gender related healthcare

- Knowledge of the public policy landscape, particularly in relation to health & social care

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
