About Ampleforth Abbey
Ampleforth Abbey is home to the UK s largest Benedictine monastic community, rooted in the Rule of St Benedict. Located in the Howardian Hills near York, the Abbey welcomes thousands of visitors each year to its Retreat Centre, Visitor Centre, Shop and Tea Room.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced fundraiser to support the sustainable growth and impact of Ampleforth Abbey.
You will play a key role in developing and delivering fundraising strategies, managing donor relationships, and guiding supporters through their giving journey. This includes individual giving, legacies, major gifts, partnerships, grants, trusts and foundations.
You will work closely with the Head of Marketing, Communications and Development to deliver fundraising campaigns, develop supporter engagement, and secure income from a range of sources in line with agreed targets.
