Emergency Call Handler - (PNC8 Required)

Location: Loughborough
Contract: Temporary (3-4 months)
Start: March

Pay Rates:

  • 13.90 per hour

  • 17.37 per hour (8:00pm-6:00am and Saturday)

  • 20.85 per hour ( Sunday)

Shift Pattern (4 days on / 4 days off):

  • Day 1: Night 10:30pm - 6:30am

  • Day 2: Evening 5:30pm - 10:30pm

  • Day 3: Afternoon 12:00pm - 5:30pm

  • Day 4: Morning 6:30am - 12:30pm

(Onsite, lone working - parking available)

The Role:
Handle emergency and non-emergency calls for a council lifeline and repairs service. Provide calm, professional support, log calls accurately, and follow procedures while working independently.

Essential Requirements:

  • Must already hold PNC8 clearance and provide proof (employer confirmation or official vetting documentation)

  • Call centre or emergency call handling experience

  • Comfortable working rotating shifts including nights, evenings, mornings, and weekends

  • Confident working alone
