Section Head

Our client, a respected engineering and project delivery organisation serving the energy and industrial gas sectors, is seeking a Section Head to lead its multi-disciplinary engineering functions across Process, Process Safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and line management for a team of specialist engineers.
• Oversee the delivery of engineering scopes, including process design, safety reviews, instrumentation systems, and electrical engineering packages.
• Allocate and coordinate engineering resources across complex projects, ensuring alignment with programme schedules and commercial objectives.
• Represent the business in client meetings, technical presentations, and bid support activities.

Candidate Requirements:

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
• Demonstrable leadership experience in hazardous process plant design, ideally including cryogenic and LNG systems.
• In-depth knowledge of European and North American engineering codes and standards.
• Background in delivering multi-discipline engineering scopes within complex project environments.
