Solicitor

A leading UK financial services organisation is seeking a Specialist Solicitor on a 6-month contract to join its Investment & Treasury Legal team.

This is a great opportunity for a finance or asset management associate looking for a in-house experience, providing front-office facing legal support for investment and treasury activities.

The Role

You will provide legal expertise on a range of complex asset-side transactions, including:

• Private placements
• Infrastructure and real estate debt investments
• Note purchase and loan-on-note structures
• Derivatives documentation and hedging structures
• Structured and illiquid asset transactions
• Transaction execution from term sheet through to signing and closing
• Support for portfolio and treasury optimisation activities

You will work closely with investment professionals and treasury teams, as well as managing external counsel on complex transactions.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
• Experience in finance / structured finance / asset management
• Experience advising asset managers, insurers, pension funds, or institutional investors preferred
• Exposure to private credit, infrastructure debt, real estate finance, or structured lending
• Comfortable reviewing and negotiating derivatives documentation

This role is ideal for an associate with investor-side experience seeking more commercial responsibility in a dynamic in-house environment.

Location: Central London (hybrid - 50% office based monthly)

Contract: 6 months
