Job Description

Our client, a prominent player in the defence and security sector, is seeking a dedicated Coordinating Authorised Person to join their team in Scotland. Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and providing guidance to site Authorised Persons in planning activities related to specialist discipline and area
  • Coordinating statutory compliance for JSP 375 Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) delivery across regional sites
  • Monitoring and reviewing performance, tracking trends, and escalating issues to the Senior Authorised Person regarding JSP compliance
  • Ensuring robust application of health, safety, and environmental regulations, procedures, and processes
  • Ensuring work is prioritised appropriately, raising issues to site Estates Delivery teams to maintain asset safety and compliance

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role with a demonstrable background in electrical systems
  • Proven track record in Health & Safety and compliance
  • Current Authorised Person (AP) Certificate in one or more JSP disciplines (e.g., HV/LV Electrical, Hazardous Areas, Mechanical Systems, Confined Spaces)
  • IOSH / NEBOSH Qualification
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Eligibility for SC clearance
