We're looking for an experienced Quality Manager - within Electronics to take the lead on our Quality Management System and raise the bar across our electronics manufacturing operations.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll shape quality strategy, drive compliance, lead audits, and champion best practice across the business.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Leading and evolving the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Integrating AS9100 and ISO 14001:2015 into the existing QMS
  • Ensuring ongoing compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ATEX
  • Planning and managing internal & external audits
  • Acting as the main contact for customer and certification body audits
  • Driving CAPA processes and structured root cause analysis (8D and beyond)
  • Developing and tracking quality KPIs
  • Supporting supplier quality alongside Supply Chain
  • Reviewing and drafting quality documentation, procedures, and work instructions
  • Leading and mentoring quality team members (where applicable)
  • Ensuring regulatory and Health & Safety compliance
  • Championing continuous improvement across production
What You'll Bring
  • Several years' experience in electronics manufacturing quality management
  • Strong working knowledge of AS9100 and ISO standards (9001 & 14001)
  • Understanding of ATEX requirements
  • Experience managing audits and certification processes
  • Lead Auditor training (advantageous - training can be provided)
  • Practical experience in root cause methodologies (e.g., 8D)
  • Solid understanding of electronics production & quality control
  • Knowledge of FMEA, PPAP, Process Flow Charts & Process Planning (desirable)
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Confident communicator with natural leadership ability
Education
  • Degree in Electronics Engineering, Quality Management, or related technical discipline (preferred)
  • Quality certifications (e.g., Lead Auditor) advantageous
