The Role
I am recruiting on behalf of a well-established and expanding freight forwarding company seeking an experienced Multimodal Freight Forwarder for their Dover office. You will manage end-to-end shipments across air, road, and sea/ocean, taking full ownership from booking through to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing import and export shipments across air, road, and sea/ocean

• Handling full freight and customs documentation where required

• Liaising with hauliers, shipping lines, airlines, ports, and overseas agents

• Providing quotations and managing shipment costs

• Maintaining high levels of customer service and communication

• Working collaboratively with colleagues across multiple UK sites

Requirements

• Proven experience in multimodal freight forwarding

• Strong knowledge of UK import and export procedures

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Confident communication skills and commercial awareness

• Experience using freight management systems such as CargoWise is advantageous
