We are seeking a dedicated and reliable C1 Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating commercial lorriesto deliver goods efficiently and safely. The position involves delivering goods between Doncaster and Sheffield, ensuring timely and secure transportation, and maintaining high standards of vehicle safety and cleanliness.
Hours:
- Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm
- Friday 8am - 4:00pm
Duties
- Operate 7.5 tonne C1 licensed lorries, in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies
- Plan delivery routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries across designated areas
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate effectively with staff and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays
- Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines at all times during operations
- Assist with warehouse duties when required, including stock organisation and inventory checks
Experience
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshoot minor issues
- Valid C1 driving licence with a clean driving records
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients
- Experience driving upto 7.5 tonne
