Proactive Personnel ltd are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative for our client based in the DY10 area.

This is a permanent role directly with the employer.

To be considered for this role, you will have over 12 months experience in an assembly or production based environment and be able to demonstrate competency in using hand / power tools. You will ideally have experience in a commercial vehicle or similar industry.

Duties will include:

• Using hand / power tools
• Operating a MIG welder (experience would be desirable not is not essential).
• Reading engineering drawings
• Working to deadlines
• Raising issues with production issues and record any changes.
• Completing production paperwork
• Supporting the production manager.

Communication skills are vital for this role so you must be a confident communicator and able to converse with colleagues at all levels.

39 hours per week.
