Position: Customs Coordinator

Location: Totton, Southampton

Salary 26,00 + bonuses + enhanced benefits package

Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 17:00pm (Hybrid)

About the Role:
As a Customs Coordinator, you'll gain hands-on experience managing customs declarations across sea, air, and road freight. You'll work closely with the operations team to ensure shipments are compliant, efficiently processed, and delivered on time. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from an experienced team while contributing to the smooth running of a fast-paced logistics business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and managing customs documentation for imports and exports
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures
  • Liaising with clients, carriers, and government authorities
  • Supporting the operations team in daily logistics processes
  • Continually developing your knowledge of customs processes and trade regulations

What We're Looking For:

  • Genuine interest in international logistics and freight forwarding
  • Attention to detail, organisation, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
  • Previous customs experience is a plus but not essential - we're happy to train motivated candidates
