Location: Bristol
Contract Type: Permanent
Team: Engineering - Facilities Management
Hours: 40 hours per week (Shift Pattern: 7:00am - 3:30pm and 9:30am - 6:00pm)
Call Out: 1 in 6 rota (approximately)

Due to continued expansion, they are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join their Facilities Management Engineering team in Bristol.

The Role

As a Multi-Skilled Electrician, you will manage a broad range of electrical works, from complex repairs to minor reactive issues, alongside test and inspect maintenance activities.

You will play a key role in ensuring electrical systems are maintained safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with current regulations and contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete pre-planned maintenance of electrical equipment and systems
  • Carry out reactive and remedial repairs following testing and inspection reports as directed by the Helpdesk
  • Plan and complete installation, maintenance, and testing works across electrical systems
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, including sourcing parts and liaising with manufacturers where required
  • Provide detailed and accurate reports of works completed
  • Ensure all tasks are completed within agreed timescales and to the highest standards
  • Maintain operation and maintenance logs and implement risk control measures
  • Utilise PDAs and electronic systems to manage and record works
  • Liaise closely with the control hub to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Maintain the highest standards of health and safety, including conducting point-of-work risk assessments
  • Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota (approximately 1 in 6)

About You

Essential

  • C&G Level 3 (2357) or equivalent, and/or a relevant apprenticeship
  • AM2 qualification
  • C&G 2382 - 18th Edition
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in building maintenance (planned, reactive, and remedial)
  • ECS Gold Card
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable

  • IOSH Working Safely or CSCS Card
  • L8 Awareness
