Speech and Language Therapist Post-16 College
We are seeking a
fully qualified and HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist to join a supportive and forward-thinking college. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with post-16 students, providing specialist therapy and making a real difference to their educational experience.
Role Overview - Assess, diagnose, and provide intervention for students with speech, language, and communication needs, including SEMH
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions with measurable outcomes
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with teachers, support staff, parents, and carers
- Develop programmes, resources, and training to support both students and staff
- Maintain accurate case notes and reports in line with RCSLT standards
Person Specification - HCPC-registered and a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT)
- Experience in a school or college setting, working with a variety of student needs
- Skilled in designing and delivering individual and group therapy programmes
- Excellent communication, organisational, and professional skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
