RICS Estates Surveyor Up to £45,000 DOE Newport

Your new role
As a Chartered General Practice Estates Surveyor, you will be responsible for the effective management, valuation and strategic oversight of a wide-ranging estate. You will lead on landlord and tenant matters, including rent reviews, lease renewals, acquisitions, disposals, and asset optimisation. You will produce high-quality professional reports, undertake Red Book valuations, support estate strategy development, and ensure statutory, H&S and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, consultants and commercial tenants to maximise estate performance and long-term value.

What you'll need to succeed

  • MRICS Chartered Surveyor status (General Practice / Commercial Property pathway).
  • Strong technical knowledge of estate management, valuation, landlord & tenant legislation and professional surveying standards.
  • Experience managing mixed property portfolios within commercial, institutional or public sector environments.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation and report writing skills.
  • Ability to interpret legal documents and advise on complex property issues.
  • Confident communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, commercially aware and strategic mindset.
