35,000 - 38,000, Days Mon-Fri, 25 + 8 days holiday, up to 8% pension

In this role, you will be responsible for setting and optimising injection moulding machines, ensuring production processes run efficiently while maintaining high quality standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, effective problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of moulding processes.

As an Injection Moulding Setter, your duties will include:

• Setting up moulding machines, including installing moulds and configuring machine settings for production runs
• Monitoring the injection moulding process and adjusting parameters to ensure consistent product quality
• Conducting first-off inspections and ensuring products meet required standards
• Carrying out routine maintenance and troubleshooting on moulds and machinery
• Maintaining accurate records of machine settings, production data, and maintenance activities
• Identifying and resolving moulding defects or machine malfunctions to minimise downtime

To be successful in the role of Injection Moulding Setter, the ideal candidate will:

• Have previous experience in plastic injection moulding, ideally as a Setter or Moulding Technician
• Be confident carrying out tool changes and machine setups
• Be able to troubleshoot common moulding faults and adjust machine parameters to resolve issues
