The Opportunity This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in legal costs who thrives on technically challenging matters. You will be involved in the full lifecycle of costs-related work, supporting high-quality litigation and dispute resolution cases while developing your expertise in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities - Preparing, reviewing, and responding to Bills of Costs with precision and technical accuracy
- Managing costs budgeting matters from start to finish, including drafting, negotiations, and strategic input
- Advising fee-earners and stakeholders on complex costs issues and providing practical guidance
- Handling summary, provisional, and detailed assessments, ensuring costs are thoroughly analysed and robustly presented
- Supporting the wider team with technical knowledge and contributing to departmental best practice
