Bright Selection are pleased to be supporting a premium care home operator in the appointment of an experienced Home Manager for one of their luxury, purpose-built nursing homes in West Sussex.
The home is a large, modern service operating at near full occupancy, supported by strong regional operations alongside dedicated sales, marketing, and on-site customer relationship management.
As General Manager, you will hold full operational responsibility for the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, team engagement and resident experience, while driving continuous operational improvement and ensuring the service operates in line with regulatory and organisational standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing large care homes.
- Strong tenure in previous roles.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and governance frameworks.
- A track record of improving culture, performance and operational standards.
- Experience within private-pay or premium care home environments is highly desirable.
- Ideally a clinically qualified manager, although strong non-clinical leaders may also be considered.
Responsibilities
- Providing visible leadership across the home, fostering a positive, accountable culture.
- Ensuring high standards of clinical governance, compliance and regulatory readiness.
- Driving improvements in team structure, processes and working practices.
- Addressing legacy workforce challenges including rota efficiency and staffing practices.
- Maintaining high levels of resident satisfaction and service quality.
- Working collaboratively with regional and central support teams including operations, sales and marketing.
- Supporting continued strong occupancy and the overall reputation of the home.
- Preparing the service for regulatory inspections and ensuring full compliance with relevant standards.
Remuneration
- Salary offered in the region of 90,000 - 100,000 DOE
