Your new company
Are you interested in joining a fast-growing business that is currently expanding both within the UK and into other markets? They are looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to join and help support the strategic growth of the business. This role will be varied with business partnering, commercial analysis, profitability & growth analysis, and forecasting. They are looking for someone with strong commercial finance experience - ideally within the FMCG, retail or consumer goods industries.
Your new role
Reporting into the CFO, you'll be responsible for:
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain to provide commercial insight and decision support across the business
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and rolling forecasts, including volume, price, mix and margin analysis
- Own and deliver P&L management, with a strong focus on gross margin, net revenue and cost control
- Drive pricing, promotions and trade spend analysis, ensuring ROI is clearly understood and optimised
- Provide robust commercial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives and NPD
- Act as a key finance lead for customer and channel profitability analysis
- Challenge stakeholders constructively to improve commercial performance and decision making
- Develop and maintain clear, actionable management reporting for senior leadership
- Identify risks and opportunities, translating data into practical commercial recommendations
