Monday to Friday (8am 6pm) 1 in 2 Saturdays (7am 12pm)

Our client, an established independent bodyshop based in the Southend-on-Sea area, is looking to recruit an experienced Bodyshop Stripper/Fitter to join their busy team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong bodyshop experience who is confident in both strip/fit and preparation work.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Stripping vehicles carefully and efficiently, avoiding any additional damage
• Re-fitting panels and components using new and existing parts
• Carrying out vehicle preparation and minor repair work prior to paint
• Masking and protecting vehicles using appropriate materials
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high-quality standard
• Using tools and equipment safely and correctly
• Liaising with the parts department to order required components
• Working to deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to detail

Your Background & Skills:

• Proven experience working within a bodyshop environment
• Strong strip and fit experience essential
• Experience with vehicle preparation and repair work
• Ability to work with heavy materials in a physically demanding role
• Able to prioritise workload and meet targets
• Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Full UK Driving Licence required
