CTR Select is recruiting for a high-growth wholesale food distributor based in Uxbridge and they are seeking an experienced Head of Fresh Produce to lead their expanding department. This is a hands-on leadership role combining operational management with commercial strategy.

The Head of Fresh Produce will:

• Manage day and night teams, ensuring smooth operations, high quality, and staff development
• Oversee buying, supplier relationships, pricing, and sourcing decisions
• Drive category innovation and growth in collaboration with Sales and Marketing
• Improve processes, optimise efficiency, and manage operational costs
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and environmental standards

Head of Fresh Produce Skills and Experience:

• Proven management experience, flexible across multiple shifts
• Previous experience working at a senior level within the foodservice sector
• Strong commercial, financial, and operational acumen
• Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
• Relevant qualifications preferred (Supply Chain, Business, CIPS)
• Right to Work in the UK & valid UK Driving Licence
