Fantastic professional company close to Heathrow are currently looking to recruit a Road Transport Agent to work in their busy team.

Job Description

Managing daily truck operations and managing the smooth flow of Ground Network Services shipments through the network.

Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow

Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system

Optimizing route planning and truck utilization

Interact with our customers (internal and external) in arranging their shipments, meeting customer service standards.

Contribute to and maintain a good relationship with suppliers

Meet compliance at all times to regulations internal and external in accordance with government regulations.

Understand department process flow, and looking for best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity

Ensure all standard operating procedures in place

Meet KPI standards in accordance with the Company's procedures

Timely communication

Escalation of problems to Management when necessary

Qualifications

Previous Roadfreight experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

Effective interpersonal skill

Pro-active, strong organizational skills

Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

Fluent in English

Working on a permanent 4on 4off shift: Days 6am -6pm

Salary up to £36,500 including shift allowance based on experience
