Spire Fylde Coast is currently looking for a Host/Catering Assistant to join there busy catering team on a Bank basis you will be covering annual leave and sickness.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Supporting our Catering team in delivering a high standard of service to patients on the wards, including helping with menu choices, serving meals, and ensuring regular refreshments.
• Assisting our Chefs with basic food preparation, stock rotation, and maintaining cleanliness in our restaurant and kitchen areas.
• Providing friendly, attentive service to patients, visitors, and colleagues, always maintaining a professional and approachable manner.
• Ensuring all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards are met, with full compliance at all times.
• Respecting patient confidentiality and contributing to a calm, welcoming environment.

Who we're looking for:

• - Previous experience in catering in a similar environment is essential.
• - Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is a minimum requirement.
• - Ability to work independently and take initiative in a busy setting.
• - A positive, flexible attitude and strong communication skills.
• - Commitment to delivering excellent customer service with empathy and professionalism.
