Location: Birmingham
Contract Type: Full-time, Fixed Term
Start Date: After Easter Half Term
Salary: £90 - £110 per day, dependent upon experiene

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school team in Birmingham. This role involves working closely with an individual pupil to support their learning, development, and wellbeing within the classroom environment.

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide tailored support to a pupil with specific learning needs

• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement individual learning plans

• Support the pupil s academic, social, and emotional development

• Adapt learning materials to meet the pupil s needs

• Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working with children in a primary school setting

• Have knowledge of Special Educational Needs, such as ASD, ADHD, or speech and language needs

• Be patient, empathetic, and resilient

• Have strong communication and teamwork skills

• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
