MCS Group are looking for an Audit & Accounts Senior Manager / Manager to join a long standing accountancy practice in Belfast.

Our client is a well-established accountancy practice in the Belfast area with multiple offices across Northern Ireland. They provide a range of services from Accounts, Audit, Taxation and Payroll etc. to an array of clients across NI. The Role:
As the successful Audit & Accounts Senior Manager / Manager you will be reporting to the Partner and will be responsible for the following duties:
- Manage a portfolio of audit clients, act as the main contact, and oversee the full audit process from planning to completion.
- Resolve audit and technical issues, coordinate with other departments, support new audit work through referrals and tenders, and handle administration such as billing.
- Prepare accounts for micro, small, and medium-sized companies while reviewing and managing junior staff work.
- Support departmental administration, including billing.
The Person:
The successful Audit & Accounts Senior Manager / Manager will meet the following criteria:
- Qualified accountant ACA/ACCA with post qualification experience in an audit/accounts department in practice.
- Experience at managerial level.
- Excellent exam record.
- Excellent technical knowledge of UK GAAP and UK auditing standards.
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills.
