Temporary Storekeeper

Pay Rate: £12.77 per hour
Start Date: Immediate start available
Working Hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 4:00pm
- Friday: 7:30am - 3:00pm
Jade Recruitment Ltd is currently recruiting for a Temporary Storekeeper (ongoing) to join our client's team in Dorking. This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse or stores experience who is looking for an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and check incoming goods, reporting any issues.
- Update stock records in the ERP system.
- Store materials correctly and keep the stores area tidy.
- Pick, pack and label items for internal use or dispatch.
- Monitor and replenish general stock and consumables.
- Assist with stock counts and inventory checks.
- Help resolve stock shortages and identify slow-moving items.
- Safely use pallet trucks or other handling equipment.
- Support general housekeeping and improvement activities.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment preferred.
- Good attention to detail and organisation skills.
- Basic computer skills for stock systems.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
