M&E Technician - Midlands
Salary: 45,000 + Company Van & Expenses
Sector: Water & Wastewater Projects
Travel: UK-wide travel required (all travel & accommodation provided)
The Role
We are recruiting for an experienced M&E Technician to join a leading contractor delivering projects across the water industry. You will support mechanical and electrical installations, maintenance, and commissioning on clean water and wastewater sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out M&E installation, maintenance and repair works on water treatment assets
- Work across mechanical systems, pumps, pipework, motors, valves, and electrical controls
- Support commissioning and testing activities
- Diagnose faults and complete remedial works
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site RAMS
- Travel to multiple sites across the Midlands and wider UK as required
Requirements
- Strong background in both mechanical and electrical maintenance/installation
- Experience working on water or utilities projects (clean/wastewater)
- Willingness to travel and stay away when needed
- Full UK driving licence
- CSCS/ECS or relevant trade qualification preferred
