NJR Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading, fast-growing wealth management firm in Wakefield as they look to recruit an ambitious Junior Paraplanner to join their support team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with early-stage technical knowledge who is eager to develop into a fully qualified Paraplanner.

The Opportunity:

This role is ideal for a motivated individual with experience in technical report writing and at least RO1 (or higher) who wants hands-on training, exam support, and clear progression into a full Paraplanner position.

You'll work closely with senior Paraplanners, Advisers, and Directors, gaining experience in the entire advice process-from research and analysis to drafting suitability reports and supporting client recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with gathering and analysing client information
• Processing new business requests
• Conduct research across pensions, investments, and protection
• Draft suitability letters and supporting documents (including AI-assisted templates)
• Support advisers with case preparation and technical queries
• Help implement advice recommendations and liaise with providers
• Maintain accurate, compliant client files

What We're Looking For:

• RO1 (minimum) - additional exams highly advantageous
• Experience in financial planning support or report writing
• Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Excellent attention to detail
• Professional communication skills
• A proactive team player with a positive attitude and a desire to progress
