Job Description

Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading Hertfordshire based client to recruit for a Supply Chain Coordinator.

Key Job Duties:

  • Processing International purchase orders, deliveries, shipments, and invoices for global customers.
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers globally and raising orders with factories in the Far East and Europe.
  • Liaising with shipping agents to get competitive prices for freight and arranging paperwork for customs clearance.
  • Analysing stock holding and customer sales.
  • Keeping supply procedures up to date.
  • Cover for other members of the Supply Chain team, reporting to the Head of Supply & Operations.
  • Other administrative tasks as necessary according to the needs of the business

Skills/experience required:

  • Previous experience in a supply chain role is needed, including the understanding of different shipment incoterms
  • Understanding of the order, delivery, and invoice processes for a supplier
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Analytical ability
  • Organised and able to maintain accurate records
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Productive and proactive
