We are on the lookout for a talented and motivated Full Stack JavaScript Developer to join a dynamic Engineering team. If you're passionate about creating innovative web and mobile applications while ensuring high performance and scalability, this is your opportunity to make an impact! Your Role: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of developers, guiding them through collaboration, innovation and facilitation to ensure best practices and high-quality code. Design, develop, and maintain both front-end components of web and mobile applications using React, Angular, TypeScript, Bootstrap 5, HTML, CSS Apply Test Driven Development (TDD) practices using tools such as Karma to ensure robust and reliable code. Leverage AI-augmented development tools like GitHub Copilot to accelerate coding, improve consistency, and reduce boilerplate. Collaborate with architects and other developers to design robust, scalable, and secure architectures for new projects and enhancements to existing systems. Continuously improve our teams' development processes, tools, and techniques to enhance productivity and product quality. Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver solutions that exceed expectations. Your skills and experience Design, develop, and maintain both front-end and back-end components of web and mobile applications using JavaScript, Node.js, and modern frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. Proven experience in full stack JavaScript development, with a strong focus on Node.js and server-side development. Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot) to enhance productivity and code quality. Experience of at least one leading Node framework (Express.js, Nest.js, Hapi.js) Expertise in at least one modern front-end framework (Nest.js, Remix.js). A track record in a lead or senior developer role, with experience of mentoring and guiding development teams. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+). Security Clearance Requirements: You must be eligible for Security Check (SC) clearance. Applicants must have resided continuously in the UK for the past 5 years.
