Class 2 Shunter

Gi Group are looking for an experienced class 2 shunter to join the night team with a local food distribution company, this will be both on-site shunting and running to the local sister site. Deliveries can include fresh and frozen meat and alcohol

Class 2 rates

22.41 including holiday pay (PAYE only no umbrellas)

Class 2 shifts

Week 1 Sunday to Friday night

Week 2 Monday to Friday night

22:00-06:00 shifts

Class 2 role

Bay to bay movements

Movements between site and the local sister site

Daily vehicle checks

Loads may contain alcohol and fresh/frozen meat

General yard duties

Class 2 requirements

In date, UK, class 2 licence with minimum 1 years' experience

In date CPC and tacho

Over 25 for insurance purposes

Previous multi-drop experience preferred

Good customer service skills

Reliable, punctual, and professional

An interview will need to be done prior to starting
