Role: Outsourced Senior Manager

Location: Guildford, Surrey

Hours: Full-time - 37.5 hours per week (minimum 30 hours / 4 days considered)

Pay: 60,000 - 70,000 per annum

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Outsourced Senior Manager to join one of our longstanding clients, a fast-growing firm providing a full range of accountancy, tax and advisory services, based in Guildford.

This is a senior leadership role where you will provide strategic financial guidance to SMEs and owner-managed businesses, acting as a trusted advisor and supporting business growth and performance.

The Requirements:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience in an outsourcing function within an accountancy practice
• Strong experience working with UK SMEs across various sectors
• Commercially astute with the ability to influence financial strategy
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proven experience leading and developing teams
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate financial insights clearly

Desirable:

• Experience supporting business growth, scale-ups or turnaround situations
• Exposure to fundraising, M&A or exit planning
• Experience across sectors such as professional services, technology or manufacturing

The Role:

• Provide strategic financial leadership and commercial insight to clients
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, management accounts and financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, VAT and HMRC requirements
• Attend client meetings to review financial performance and provide guidance
• Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor
• Identify financial risks and implement appropriate controls
• Collaborate with internal teams including audit, tax and payroll
• Coach and mentor finance teams and outsourced functions
