Behaviour Teaching Assistant - Primary/Secondary School - South East London - 95- 115 per day
We are currently seeking a confident and resilient Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in South East London. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with pupils who require additional behavioural support, helping them to engage positively with their learning.
The Role:
As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting pupils with behavioural needs on a 1:1 and small group basis. You will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour, supporting emotional regulation, and helping students access the curriculum in a structured and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with behavioural needs
- Implement behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
- Support pupils with emotional regulation and engagement in lessons
- Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and pastoral staff
- Help create a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children with behavioural needs or SEMH
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Calm, patient, and resilient approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for supporting young people
