Your new company
You will be joining the Belfast Health & Social Care Trust, working within the Northern Ireland Degree in Social Work Partnership (NIDSWP). This regional partnership supports the delivery of high quality social work education across Northern Ireland. You'll be part of a dedicated administrative team providing essential support to ensure the smooth running of this important service.


Your new role
As an Administrator / Clerical Support Officer, you will provide day to day administrative and secretarial support to the NIDSWP team. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a first point of contact for telephone, email, and face to face enquiries
  • Managing shared inboxes, prioritising and directing communications
  • Providing diary management and meeting support, including agenda preparation and minute taking
  • Producing high quality documents such as reports, letters, memos and forms
  • Maintaining accurate electronic and paper filing systems
  • Supporting regional meetings, training sessions, and events
  • Ensuring all information is handled in line with GDPR and Trust policies


This is a part time position requiring 20 hours per week, worked over two full days and one half day.


What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Experience producing professional documents and taking minutes
  • Ability to work as part of a team and manage your own workload
  • A commitment to confidentiality, data protection and Trust values
