Here at Hays, we're looking for a proactive, hands-on Accounts Payable Lead to join our team in Tewkesbury. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, improving processes, and working closely with operational teams.
What You'll Be Doing
- Taking a hands-on approach to clearing a backlog of invoices.
- Mapping and improving Accounts Payable workflows to drive efficiency and accuracy.
- Working closely with the Supply Chain and Goods in teams to ensure smooth end to end processes.
- Providing guidance, support, and oversight to our existing AP Administrator.
- Acting as a key point of contact for AP-related queries across the business.
What We're Looking For
- Someone who is comfortable getting stuck in with operational tasks.
- Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes and workflow optimisation.
- Excellent communication skills, especially when working with supply chain and operational teams.
- A supportive working style - able to guide and mentor junior team members.
- Happy to work 5 days per week on-site in our Tewkesbury office.
