Here at Hays, we're looking for a proactive, hands-on Accounts Payable Lead to join our team in Tewkesbury. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, improving processes, and working closely with operational teams.
What You'll Be Doing

• Taking a hands-on approach to clearing a backlog of invoices.
• Mapping and improving Accounts Payable workflows to drive efficiency and accuracy.
• Working closely with the Supply Chain and Goods in teams to ensure smooth end to end processes.
• Providing guidance, support, and oversight to our existing AP Administrator.
• Acting as a key point of contact for AP-related queries across the business.

What We're Looking For

• Someone who is comfortable getting stuck in with operational tasks.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes and workflow optimisation.
• Excellent communication skills, especially when working with supply chain and operational teams.
• A supportive working style - able to guide and mentor junior team members.
• Happy to work 5 days per week on-site in our Tewkesbury office.
