Conveyancing Legal Secretary
Location: London
Salary: 35,000

Eclectic Recruitment is working with a well-regarded, modern law firm based in London, seeking an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join their growing property team. This is a full-time, office-based role within a professional and collaborative environment.

You will provide dedicated support to fee-earners within a busy conveyancing department, assisting with a wide range of secretarial and administrative duties to ensure transactions are progressed efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing comprehensive secretarial support to conveyancing fee-earners
  • Preparing, formatting, and amending legal documents and correspondence
  • Managing files
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, solicitors, and other third parties
  • Handling audio typing and producing accurate, high-quality documentation
  • Assisting with file management, including opening, closing, and maintaining records
  • Supporting billing processes and general administrative tasks

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within conveyancing/property
  • Strong understanding of the commercial / residential conveyancing process
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy workload
  • Fast and accurate typing skills, including audio typing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Professional and confident communication skills
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to support colleagues
