Occupational Therapist

Vivid Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Locum Occupational Therapist to join a supportive Community Rehabilitation Team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced OT looking to work autonomously while making a real impact supporting patients in their own homes and community settings.

The Role:

You'll be responsible for the independent assessment, treatment, and discharge planning of patients within the community. The role requires strong clinical reasoning, a proactive approach, and confidence in managing a varied rehab caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete holistic assessments and deliver patient centered interventions
• Undertake treatment and discharge planning independently
• Prescribe and order equipment based on clinical need
• Utilise recognised outcome measures to track patient progress
• Participate in family meetings and contribute to wider care planning
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Requirements:

• Qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration
• Post-qualified experience within the NHS
• Previous experience in community and/or rehabilitation settings
• Strong assessment, discharge planning, and clinical reasoning skills
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential for community visits)
