Process Technician - Rotherham (S61)

Our client, a well-established manufacturing business based in Rotherham, is currently seeking an experienced Process Technician to join their growing operations team.
This is a key role within the site, responsible for ensuring injection moulding machinery operates efficiently, meets production targets, and maintains high-quality standards.
Working Hours
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) working a 3-week rotating shift pattern:
- Days: 6:00am - 2:00pm
- Afternoons: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- Nights: 10:00pm - 6:00am
Key Responsibilities
- Install and start up moulds in line with SOPs and safe working practices
- Carry out colour, tool, and plate changes using SMED principles
- Ensure "first off" products meet required specifications before production release
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the moulding process to maintain performance
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure efficient problem resolution
- Support knowledge sharing and training across the operations team
- Assist in the development of junior staff and production operators
- Maintain clear and effective shift handovers
- Contribute to wider operational activities such as continuous improvement projects, new product introductions, and equipment moves
About You
- ONC (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline, ideally supported by a completed apprenticeship
- Injection Moulding qualification (IMT3 or above desirable), with experience in large-scale moulding
- Strong IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with colleagues at all levels
