We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Birmingham on a full-time basis. This position is a maternity cover role, starting immediately after the Easter break.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a well-behaved and enthusiastic Year 1 class, delivering creative and engaging lessons that inspire a love of learning.
The Role:
- Full-time Year 1 class teacher
- Full classroom responsibilities, including planning, preparation, marking and assessment
- Attending and contributing to parents evenings
- Participation in staff meetings and twilight sessions
- Maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1
- Be committed, organised, and proactive
- Be happy to fully immerse themselves in the role and wider school life
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new one
- Be able to supply references covering the past two years, commenting on your interaction with children and teaching practice
