Job Description
Our client, a prominent company in the construction sector, is seeking an experienced Senior Surveyor to join their team in the Bristol area. This is a permanent role that offers exciting opportunities for professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing detailed surveying tasks on various construction projects
- Utilising Starnet and other surveying software to ensure precise measurements and data accuracy
- Managing and overseeing junior surveyors and providing mentorship and guidance
- Preparing comprehensive reports and documentation for project analysis and assessment
- Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Travelling to various project sites as required, with the understanding that travelling beyond three hours may not be feasible
Job Requirements:
- Extensive experience in surveying within the construction industry
- Proficient in using Starnet and other relevant surveying software
- Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Understanding of BPSS clearance processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality results
- Willingness to travel within the Bristol area
- Relevant surveying qualification or equivalent experience
