Are you a reliable Maintenance Operative / Electrical Mate with basic electrical skills or experience as an Electrical Mate?
Hays is recruiting for a motivated individual to join an on-site maintenance team in Watford, working closely alongside a qualified electrician.

The RoleIn this position, you will support day-to-day building maintenance duties, including assisting with electrical works under supervision. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the site, delivering safe, compliant, and high quality work.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the electrician with routine electrical maintenance and minor repairs
• Perform general building maintenance tasks as required
• Carry out basic electrical duties where competent
• Support planned and reactive maintenance activities
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures

What We're Looking For

• Maintenance Operative with basic electrical knowledge, or
• Electrical Mate with site experience
• Strong practical skills and a proactive attitude
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Reliable, safety focused, and able to work independently when required

Pay & Employment

• £37,000-£38,000 max / Up to£18.27 Paye / £22.85 per hour umbrella
• Available as PAYE or Umbrella PAYE
• Long term opportunity for the right candidate
