Trailer Technician / Fitter

Grimsby Lincolnshire

Salary 43,000 to 47,000 per year

40 hour week Monday to Friday .

28 days annual leave plus free parking

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out on-site servicing and provide breakdown cover as required
• Prepare trailers in the workshop for MOT inspections
• Attend roadside breakdowns, performing repairs and servicing at customer locations
• Ideally HGV Technician would suit this position
• Conduct trailer inspections and repairs at the quayside
• Follow company procedures, safe systems of work, and Health & Safety regulations
• Work efficiently and maintain high standards of workmanship

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role (Trailer Technician / Fitter or equivalent)
• Strong mechanical or engineering background
• Ability to work under pressure with excellent time management skills
• Reliable, responsible, and safety-focused
• Full driving licence (essential)
• C+E licence desirable (training can be provided)
