Ergonomics Consultant
Day Rate - Negotiable, Depending on Experience
Outside IR35 - Ongoing Contract
Location: Southeast, UK
We are seeking an experienced Ergonomist from an industrial background to support a data centre project. The successful candidate will focus on designing and assessing workplace systems to minimise occupational health risks and optimise performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct workplace assessments and ergonomic risk evaluations within the data centre environment.
- Develop and implement solutions to minimise musculoskeletal disorders, CTDs, and related risks.
- Advise on manual handling, workstation setup, and DSE assessments for operational staff.
- Support the design and improvement of workplace systems to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Work closely with safety teams and site managers to embed ergonomic best practices.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Strong industrial background with experience in workplace assessment or design.
- Knowledge of human factors, MSDs, CTDs, HAVS, and manual handling.
- Familiarity with occupational health practices and safety legislation.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and communicate technical solutions effectively.
