SEN Learning Support Assistant

Academics is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide full-time 1:1 support to a KS2 child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), starting after the Easter holidays. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive school environment and make a real difference to a child's education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to a child with ASD in a KS2 classroom
• Assist with learning, communication, and social skills development
• Support inclusion and help the child access the full curriculum
• Work closely with teachers and parents to implement individual learning plans
• Monitor and report on progress, challenges, and achievements

What we're looking for:

• Minimum 6 months' experience working with children in the UK
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply
• 2 years' worth of references
• Experience supporting children with ASD is highly desirable
• Patience, creativity, and strong communication skills
