We are now looking for a hands-on Operations Capability Manager to lead from the front, drive performance, and develop their people.

The role of Operations Capability Manager

This is a mid -senior, high-impact position requiring a confident decision-maker who thrives under pressure and leads by example. You will take ownership of operational delivery while building capability across the team.
You will directly manage a small team, including Team Leaders, ensuring performance, engagement, and continuous development.

Key Responsibilities of the Operations Capability Manager
  • Lead day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery to customers and internal stake holders
  • Make timely, well-informed decisions in a fast-moving environment
  • Act as a hands-on leader stepping in where needed to get the job done
  • Coach, mentor, and develop a team of service operators, fostering a high-performance culture
  • Support and develop Team Leaders to strengthen leadership capability
  • Drive accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement across the team
  • Identify operational challenges and implement practical, scalable solutions
  • Monitor performance metrics and take proactive action to improve outcomes
  • Build strong relationships internally and externally to contribute to a positive team environment and customer satisfaction
What We're Looking for in the role of Operations Capability Manager
  • Proven experience in a Mid to Senior operational role within a fast-paced environment (For example, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Retail, Hospitality or start ups)
  • A decisive, action-oriented leader who can think on their feet
  • Strong people management skills with a genuine passion for developing others
  • Hands-on approach with a willingness to roll up your sleeves
  • Experience managing team leaders or supervisors
  • Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
  • Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable managing competing priorities
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and engage
