We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to focus on Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR) and Technical Report Reviews in support of customer specific requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Report quality analysis, trends and improvement activities
- Communication of the customer quality requirements to the business team
- Liaise with customers regarding quality issues, audit actions, improvements
- Use of quality tools to ensure resolution (e.g. PFMEA, Ishikawa, Fault Tree Analysis).
- Support with New Product Introductions from a quality perspective
- Initiate, implement, and control corrective actions
- Lead Zero Defect initiatives and improve customer satisfaction and KPIs
What We re Looking For
- Quality background in a highly regulated industry (Aerospace, Automotive, Rail, Pharmaceutical, etc)
- Working knowledge of problem resolution tools, such as A3 or 8D, and Root Cause Analysis techniques e.g. Pareto, 5 Why's, Ishikawa, Is/Is Not, Design of Experiments
- Knowledge and experience of Quality/Business Management Systems (EN 9100 / ISO 9001) and other relevant standards.
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Health, Safety and Environmentally conscious.
- Ability to read and understand 2D technical drawings

£18.00 per hour (£35,568 per annum)
