Family Solicitor (2+ PQE) Cambridgeshire £40,000-£60,000 + BonusA well-established and highly regarded regional law firm in Cambridgeshire is seeking a Family Solicitor (2+ PQE) to join its growing private family department. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive firm with a strong local reputation, offering high-quality work, autonomy, and genuine long-term progression.The Role You will manage a varied caseload of private family law matters, including:

• Divorce and civil partnership dissolution
• Financial remedy and asset division
• Private children matters
• Financial provision for children
• Cohabitation and separation agreements

You will have responsibility for your own files while benefiting from full secretarial support and an experienced team environment.Key Responsibilities

• Handling a full caseload from instruction through to completion
• Providing clear, empathetic advice to clients during sensitive matters
• Maintaining high standards of client care and communication
• Ensuring compliance with Lexcel and internal procedures
• Managing billing, time recording, and financial performance of files
• Supporting and supervising junior staff where required
• Contributing to business development and networking

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE in Family Law
• Strong experience in private family matters
• Able to manage a caseload independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Organised with strong file management ability
• Commercially aware with good billing practices
• IT proficient (case management systems, Word, Outlook, Excel)
• A team player with a proactive and professional approach
